With the rise of SNS(Social Network Service), it is getting easier and easier for an individual to communicate with the world. You don't have to be a reporter or columnist for traditional media such as newspaper, TV and etc. SNS including blog and micro-blog provides you with a very effective tool of communication. It is sometimes more powerful than traditional media in diffusion of information. The most recent example is the the Case of Kim Ye-sul, whose article which was originally written on the bulletin board at school has spread via SNS and became one of the mainstream news.

One thing that you must not forget, however, is the quality of content. The online world is like the cosmos to me in terms of its unlimited expansibility. And materials posted on the online world is like debris drifting in the cosmos. Personally, as a used-to-be reporter, I feel so grateful for the advent this powerful tool of communicaion-people of my kind have some needs or thirst for communicating with others, though I do not think it is an inborn nature. But, at the same time, I feel much obliged not to contribute to creating space debris in the online world and this is one of the reasons why I have hesitated to build my own blog. I am still not very confident that I am not another source of space debris. 

But now, I am here writing this article, explaining - excusing in fact - myself about blogging. Despite all the worry, I have decided to be more serious about it. Its possibility and influential power cannot be looked over. Even if I fail to create quality content and this place becomes another source of trash, it is still very exciting and worth trying. Let's see where this first step lead me to.
